Basic initial layout of Animation Environment

The images seen above are showing two different things, an attempt to turn Malcolm's rig into a zombie and an initial layout of the environment for my 11 Second Club animation.
When I started thinking about potential stories for my animation I decided to go for a story that involved a zombie. I was very excited to have settled with a story but this feeling was soon replaced with doubt as I found myself looking for zombie rigs in the internet without success. In my search I encountered a zombie rig from 'Hotel Transylvania' that was released by Sony, I got really happy until I realised that the rig didn't have any facial rigs; once again I found myself in 'trouble'. After spending a few hours searching for zombie rigs I asked myself, "What if I modify a human rig to make it look like a zombie?". The next thing I did was open up Malcolm's rig and changed his skin colour, success, but, a bit boring, let me see if I can open Malcolm's UVs...Bingo!. With the UV maps I could certainly achieve a more acceptable zombie skin, this meant that my search for a zombie rig was over and I could continue working on other things.
My story is quite simple, "A zombie 'Mamuerto' gets ready to have dinner and the 'funny' thought of changing foods with a human 'Franketo' crosses his mind, Franketo with his piece of cake observes the scene and soon realises what Mamuerto is proposing and completely disagrees with him." My intention is to make the cuts and environment work together, I want the viewer to think that the zombie is having an ordinary dinner and then reveal that he is sitting by himself outside a house having a conversation about his dinner with a living human.
Most of the props I used were free and taken from various websites like turbosquid.com, free3D.com, archive3D.net and cgtrader.com. Honestly these free assets makes the life of an Animation student so much easier, I don't know what I would have done without them.
