GAME ART – JUNGLE HEALTH PICKUP

An Animation With Impact

In this project I was introduced to Maya and Unreal Engine. I attended various lectures that gave me an intro to the basics of the programs while giving me the opportunity to put the theory into practise which I believe is the best way of learning. The goal was to create a mobile-friendly health pickup following a set of guides, no more than 1500 polygons, a texture size of 1024*1024 along with the normal, metal and roughness maps. I was given two pre-modelled scenarios with different aesthetics, a sci-fi and a rustic, I had to choose one of these and start to make a mood board to develop my asset ideas.
